Prince Harry ‘hunters’ reality show planned

TV cameras will follow five “Prince Harry Hunters” as they try to win the heart of the royal in a new reality show.

A new reality TV show will follow five “Prince Harry Hunters” as they try to win the heart of the royal.

The Channel 4 documentary is set to show the exploits of American pals Cassie and Whitney, both 21, who travel to London to track down the flame haired British prince and convince him to make one of them his princess.

TV cameras will follow the friends as they party at Harry’s beloved Mahiki and Public nightspots and try to find him at polo matches.

Channel 4 commissioning editor Aysha Rafaele told The Sun newspaper: “The Harry Hunters share the romantic dreams held by thousands of younggirls around the world.”

The show is also set to feature London school friends Joy and Jade, both 16, who use micro-blogging site twitter to track the movements of the 27-year-old prince.

The final Harry hunter is 14-year-old Flora from west London who hopes to secure the affections of Prince Harry despite their 13-year age difference.

Harry is currently single after splitting from on/off girlfriend Chelsy Davy last year although with his first solo royal tour and a proposed deployment to Afghanistan in 2012, he may not have time for romance.

Channel 4 commissions Prince Harry Hunters show

Now Prince William is off the market the pressure to bag a prince is on, and a new film is to follow wannabe princesses with their sights set on Harry.

Channel 4’s First Cut: The Harry Hunters documentary will follow a group of young girls dreaming of becoming the next Kate Middleton as they stalk Britain’s most eligible bachelor.

Two of the women set on pinning down the party-mad prince are 21-year-old American pals Cassie and Whitney, who have long dreamed that they will one day join the ranks of the English royal family.

The determined duo are not exactly laid back in their attempts to make Harry theirs, and the programme will follow them as they hit up his favourite spots, from Polo clubs to elite Mayfair nightspots.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old school friends Joy and Jade take a very modern approach to making their fairytale dreams come true - tracking the prince on Twitter.

In a slightly premature move, eager Joy has also got an engagement ring for Harry for when he should choose to pop the question.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Flora from Chelsea reckons the rebellious royal will opt for an intelligent wife, and is throwing herself into her school work in an effort to attract him with her brains.

Channel 4 commissioning editor Aysha Rafael explained: ‘The Harry Hunters shares the romantic age-old dreams held by thousands of young girls around the world.

‘They fantasise of fairy tale dresses, extravagant royal weddings and for that special day when they finally meet their Prince Charming.’
