Prince Harry
is in the US training as an Apache Helicopter pilot and his living conditions are sparse and not fit for royalty. This prompted Senator John McCain to step in and make some suggestions for the young royal.
Gila Ben Air Force Auxiliary Field in Arizona is home for now for Prince Harry as he continues with his company training on the élite helicopters. This desert site offers no stores, no restaurants and not even a gas station. The living conditions are basic, with a bed and bathroom facilities.
With the young royal’s anticipated arrival making news, John McCain recommended alternative living conditions for the 27-year-old Prince. McCain tweeted Prince Harry that he recommends the Space Air Lodge, according to the website Female First.
This UFO themed hotel is just 10 minutes down the road from where Harry is training and it offers all the amenities that are fit for royalty, like a King size bed, air conditioning and a shower-tub combination in the bathroom.
The hotel is known for its murals of space shuttles and UFO novelty decor. The price is $100 a night, which goes up to $119 in November, but the owner, Duke Fox, is willing to drop the price for Prince Harry if he did decide to stay there. Now that’s getting the royal treatment!
Seriously, John McCain? Do you know how many American citizens are living in poverty right now?
